I know it's been a very very long time since I updated my journal entries at all. I have been keeping up with everyone else's journals though. I just have been so busy lately with work and what not that I have not been able to update my own journal. I will try to post later tonight about what has been going on in my life for the past 2 months.

 I figured I should post some more so you guys can learn a little more about me. Well as I already said in my last entry, I am 22 years old and live in West Palm Beach, FL. My boyfriend (Tom) of a little over a  year has recently been deployed to Iraq. Now that I don't agree with him for joining the army at all, he had done it before I got with him and there wasn't much i could do to change the situation. It's odd because I have been friends with him for so long, but before I was dating him I didn't think much of him about joining the army. Like I always worried but I knew it was something that he wanted to do. So when he went to Iraq he told me that I should possibly try to find someone else just incase he doesn't return; but I've never had the heart to do that and I have never met another guy like him. 

I am going to have to finish this random rant, because now I am thinking about Tom and i want to write him.

Well since i just started up this live journal account recently (I used to use live journal before, but i want to start fresh) I figure I'd let you guys know a little bit about me.

My name is Carissa and I am 22 years old living in West Palm Beach, FL. As you can imagine I do go to the beach often, but I am not your little stuck up rich girl. One thing someone might not know about me when first seeing me is that I am a very very avid video game player (Halo 3 baby!). I LOVE video games, and it upsets me that people stereotype girls to not be good at video games.

Um some other things about me: I don't go to college, I did try it though and decided that it just wasn't my thing. Don't get me wrong I love to learn but at this point in my life I just don't think i was ready for college. Maybe I will go back some day, but for now I am just a working girl trying to pay my bills.
